My Room!
I have been busy busy busy, wood carving for Printmaking,
color mixing for workshop, and I'm also designing a poster
for an off Broadway Play for Advertising,
Which I will post a copy of when I'm done!
I also bought a new camera this week :)
It was my treat because I got my loan in!
Its a manual camera taking 35mm film,
so I'm going right back to basics learning everything from scratch!
I'm definitely going back to basics with my design skills also,
I'm learning a lot, and getting very creative in Screen Printing,
The facilities here at FIT are amazing!
I'm producing a book at the minute,
I will post the final but here are some sketchbook prints,
Friday I headed to Union Square,
A very Chilled Day, nice atmosphere with street entertainers
an excellent place to people watch!
Later we headed to the local, Chitos, for $4 margarita's,
then Katie's friends from London arrived and we took them
to an 24 hour diner "Tick Tock" just around the corner,
this really is the city that never sleeps!
Saturday we headed back to Governors Island
the dutch festival was happening again, with many more crazy additions
along with a silent disco! So much Fun!
Later we headed to a Party and met more new people!
Everyone is so genuine here, I think Ive definitely met some friends for life!
